The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional “Google Ads Media Buyer” to join our team—a highly analytical and results-driven individual with the drive to optimize and the hunger to deliver outstanding ROI.
This remote position focuses on creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to generate high-quality leads for our diverse client base. This role begins with a commission-based structure for the first 6 months, designed to reward top performers from day one, directly tied to the impact and ROI of the campaigns you manage.
After that period, your base salary will be determined by your results; the stronger your performance and contribution to client success, the stronger your compensation and performance-based incentives. We believe great people deserve great pay, and we structure our packages to reflect that.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and launch highly effective Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Local Services Ads, Performance Max) tailored to the unique needs and goals of Local CEO’s clients.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience analysis, and competitive analysis to identify optimal targeting opportunities for local businesses.
- Write compelling and high-converting ad copy, and collaborate on creative assets to maximize click-through rates and conversions.
- Proactively manage bids, budgets, and campaign settings to ensure optimal performance, maximizing ROI and minimizing wasted spend.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, identify trends, and provide regular, insightful reports to the team, highlighting key metrics and actionable recommendations.
- Implement rigorous A/B testing strategies for ad copy, landing pages, and targeting to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for landing page improvements to enhance conversion rates.
- Keep abreast of the latest Google Ads features, best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with the client success team to align campaign strategies with overall client objectives and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns with a proven track record of driving significant ROI and lead generation.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for data, capable of interpreting complex campaign metrics and translating them into actionable insights.
- A verifiable history of consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets (e.g., CPA, ROAS, lead volume).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex strategies clearly and concisely.
- Highly disciplined, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a remote environment.
- Expert-level proficiency with Google Ads platform, Google Analytics, and CRM software.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose campaign issues and implement effective solutions.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based environment initially, with a clear path to a salaried position.
Compensation:
