Sales Lead (Commission Based) Part Time Job Details
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is for a commission-based closer who can wear multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, managing incoming leads, conducting follow-ups, and converting inquiries into bookings.
This is a front-line position that directly impacts our growth, you’ll be the face (and voice) of our brand to new clients and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Lead Management
- Respond to all inbound leads via email, phone, and social media
- Follow up with all inquiries within 24 hours
- Send out proposals and guide clients through booking
- Handle contract signing and payment coordination
- Upsell packages and add-ons (prints, custom backdrops, trading cards)
Cold Outreach & Calling
- Call and email potential clients and businesses (planners, venues, event organizers)
- Use lead lists provided and build your own as needed
- Pitch our services to new prospects with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Track cold outreach results (calls made, emails sent, deals generated)
Social Media Lead Engagement
- Respond quickly to DMs on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Use pre-written scripts to guide leads to booking or phone calls
- Capture leads from comments, tags, and engagement
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Update CRM (Honeybook) daily with new leads and status
- Track all follow-ups, proposals, and bookings
- Stay organized and on top of all lead communications
Client Relationship & Retention
- Build rapport with clients to increase close rates
- Follow up post-event to check in and request reviews
- Promote repeat bookings and referral discounts
Growth-Focused Contributions
- Share insights on what’s working or not in the sales process
- Help improve scripts, packages, and outreach strategies
- Collaborate with the leadership team during weekly check-ins
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in sales, cold calling, or lead generation
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated and competitive mindset
- Confident on the phone — you’re not afraid to talk to strangers
- Highly organized and dependable
- Comfortable with Instagram, Google Sheets, email, and CRM tools
- Ability to track KPIs and hit weekly goals
- Available to respond to leads within 1 business day
- Flexible schedule — must be available evenings/weekends occasionally
COMPENSATION
- Commission-Based (Percentage of every event booked + bonuses for upsells or hitting targets)
- No cap on earnings the more you close, the more you make
- Performance bonuses available for exceeding monthly goals
- Opportunity to grow into Sales Team Lead or Full-Time Sales Manager role
This role is essential for driving the organization’s mission forward while ensuring that community needs are met with professionalism and integrity.
