Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Texas-licensed real estate appraiser or valuation consultant to provide targeted support for property tax litigation on a large portfolio of properties across multiple Texas counties. This is a part-time, remote, contract role offering competitive monthly compensation of $6,000.
You will play a crucial role in helping us challenge overassessments, prioritize high-impact properties, and deliver clear valuation analyses that support successful protests and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze appraisal district valuations and identify properties likely overassessed
- Conduct focused valuation reviews and prepare concise valuation summaries
- Generate detailed reports or affidavits on priority properties as needed
- Collaborate with our legal team to strategize effective protest and litigation approaches
- Manage your workload efficiently to deliver results within agreed timelines
Qualifications:
- Licensed real estate appraiser in Texas or equivalent valuation experience
- Familiarity with Texas property tax system, appraisal districts, and ARB protest processes
- Experience with property tax appeals or litigation support preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Compensation & Work Schedule:
- Monthly flat fee of $6,000 for part-time consulting work
- Expected workload: approximately 40–80 hours per month (flexible scheduling)
- Remote work with the ability to manage time efficiently
