Administrative Assistant Part Time Remote Job Details
Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for an Administrative Assistant!
This position is 100% remote. We will only consider candidates who currently live in the United States.
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or subcontracting is not permitted for this position.
- Be able to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time.

As an Administrative Assistant supporting a healthcare quality initiative, you’ll be a vital part of a team working to improve patient outcomes. You will be at the heart of coordinating information and communication between healthcare providers and abstractors, ensuring the smooth flow of vital data. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to a program that makes a tangible difference in people’s lives.
This dynamic role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the healthcare field. You will play a crucial role in facilitating the collection and analysis of healthcare data, thereby contributing directly to quality improvement initiatives. Your ability to manage information effectively and communicate clearly will be essential to the success of the project.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with provider offices to obtain necessary medical records.
- Manage the process of requesting and receiving medical records, including faxing, documenting, and tracking requests.
- Provide daily operational support to the healthcare quality team.
- Handle incoming calls from abstractors and providers, addressing their inquiries and providing assistance.
- Prepare and distribute materials such as sample lists and location pull lists for abstractors.
- Troubleshoot logistical challenges between providers and abstractors, ensuring smooth operations.
- Perform data entry tasks as needed to support project requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all collected information.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality initiatives and medical record review.
- Ability to interpret medical records accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe Reader.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm local time.

- Experience with project coordination.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $16.87 to $18.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
