The Creative Presentations & Concept Development Manager is responsible for supporting creative presentations for the Sourcing & Acquisition Supply Team for Experiences, ensuring project and pitch materials are designed and coordinated across team leads, and driving the development and pitching of innovative experience concepts.
The focus of this role will be to:
- Create new experience concepts and pitches, leveraging insights from social media and cultural trends.
- Oversee and execute the development of designs and assets for a variety of presentations and pitch materials, using graphic tools such as Keynote and the Adobe Creative Suite to support the visual storytelling of experiences materials.
- Support and facilitate brainstorms and work sessions, ensuring all team materials are available for presentation needs and supporting the production of visual presentations.
This is a talented, collaborative creative designer who has demonstrated ability to ideate, pitch, plan, and coordinate efforts and projects across a broad spectrum of experiences. They are enthusiastic through partners across the organization, proactively adding value and applying their craft to innovate how Airbnb will connect people all around the world.
Examples Deliverables:
- Concept Development & Experience Design: Generate and pitch innovative concepts for new experiences, informed by research and analysis of industry and social media trends.
- Social media & Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of social media and cultural developments, using insights to inform ideation, storytelling, and ensure experiences are timely and relevant.
- Keynote Presentations: Oversee supply acquisition projects through storytelling from strategy to pitch, and recap, effectively managing timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Industry Awareness & Production Experience: Stay updated on industry trends, production trends, know-how and new talent and experiences.
- Communication & Collaboration: Lead meetings, collaborate with team members, provide regular project updates, and ensure clear verbal, written, and visual communication across teams and leadership.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records and circulate weekly updates tracking goals and progress.
- Visual Storytelling: Develop visually compelling materials and presentations that clearly communicate concepts to the team, leadership, stakeholders, and partners.
Skills:
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years in creative development or production of experiences or creative development / storytelling in travel, entertainment, or marketing. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related creative fields.
- Deep understanding of travel, entertainment, experience, and hospitality trends, with a sharp eye for spotting new experiences, social media movements, and cultural trends. Strong ability to assess quality and stay ahead of market shifts.
- Proven ability to ideate and successfully pitch creative concepts, supported by strong visual communication and storytelling skills.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and fostering trust across creative, technical, and business disciplines.
- Experienced in working with engineering, product, and data teams.
- Excellent at presenting complex ideas, managing project dashboards, and handling CRM and visual communication (graphic) systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in fast-changing environments.
