To accelerate growth and nurture our studio teams, we need an Area Manager who is equal parts revenue driver and mentor—someone who can hit ambitious sales targets while coaching Flexologists and Studio Managers to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth Leadership – 60%
• Set and exceed monthly new‑membership, upgrade, and ancillary‑service targets for all studios
• Coach Studio Managers on prospecting, lead‑nurture cadence, and closing techniques
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and roll up a consolidated forecast to ownership
• Identify local B2B and community partnership opportunities to drive walk-in traffic
People Development & Mentoring – 25%
• Model servant-leadership aligned with StretchLab’s core values
• Create individualized coaching plans
• Recruit, hire, and onboard high‑performing sales talent and Flexologists
• Champion a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement
Operational Excellence – 10%
• Ensure SOP compliance on MAPS assessments, scheduling, and CRM hygiene
• Monitor studio P&L reports; recommend actions to improve revenue per session and labor cost ratios
Reporting & Strategy – 5%
• Track KPIs (see below); present insights and action plans in the monthly business review
• Collaborate with the owner on annual budget, pricing, and promotional strategy
SuccessMetrics (Measured Quarterly)
1. New Membership Growth: +10% across all studios
2. Lead‑to‑Member Conversion Rate: ≥40%
3. Average Revenue per Member (ARPM): +8% YoY
4. Member Retention: ≥60% 90‑day retention for new members

Must‑Have Qualifications
• 3+ years multi‑unit leadership in boutique fitness, health club, or wellness retail
• Documented track record of beating aggressive monthly sales quotas (attach metrics)
• Strong coaching/mentoring skills—can diagnose performance gaps and upskill teams quickly
• Financial acumen: comfortable reading P&Lstatements and building sales forecasts
• Tech‑savvy with MindBody or comparable RM, Google Workspace, and KPI dashboards
•Reliable transportation to travel between studios (≈50% field time)
Nice‑to‑Haves
• Bachelor’s in Business, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or similar
• Experience launching B2B/corporate‑wellness partnerships
Compensation & Perks
• Base Salary + Performance Commission (40% base / 60% uncapped commission structure) – On‑Target Earnings (OTE): mid‑80s to low‑$100s, with upside for over‑performance
