Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The Procurement Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Procurement and will be responsible for strategic sourcing and indirect procurement strategies to drive cost efficiency, quality, and supplier performance. The Procurement Specialist will also be responsible for supplier contract and management, cost optimization, process improvement and compliance for the company’s indirect procurement categories.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience in procurement or supply chain
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with fleet management software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office Suite products.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize various operational demands effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a team-player attitude and work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories to drive cost efficiency, quality, and supplier performance
- Lead RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and supplier consolidation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and innovation
- Develop and execute supplier evaluation and performance metrics to track KPIs such as cost, quality, risk, and service levels
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, risk management, and corporate governance policies
- Drive spend analyses, benchmarking, and strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve savings targets
- Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance and contractual obligations
- Optimize procurement policies, procedures, and tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements
- Leverage technology and data analytics to improve decision-making and procurement processes

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
