About Us:
NY Special Care is a newly established non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with special needs. As a start-up, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to partner with us and help us enroll as a Medicaid provider. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something impactful from the ground up while shaping the future of our ABA services.
Your Role:
- Partner with NY Special Care as a founding team member to support Medicaid enrollment.
- Oversee and develop ABA programs for children with autism and other developmental needs.
- Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians (BTs) to ensure the delivery of effective ABA therapy.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and write individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Monitor client progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families to provide parent training and ensure family-centered care.
- Ensure all clinical documentation meets Medicaid and ethical standards.
Job Requirements:
- Must hold an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Must have a valid Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license in New York State (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid requirements for ABA providers.
- Passionate about working with children with autism and their families.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
