Health Internship Job Overview
As one of the top-ranked preschools in Utah, Early Learning Essentials is excited to enroll new
interns and volunteers.
Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns and volunteers who are innovative, self-starters,
outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children.
Internships are unpaid and interns are welcome to work anywhere from 5-10 hours per week.
This is a great opportunity for those looking to get hands-on experience working with the
community and for anyone interested in going into health related fields.
Intern Duties Description
- Assist Health Specialist completing hands-on health screenings for preschool age children.
- Analyze data, insights, and trends to reach our target goals with each child.
- Willing to create short visual lessons for preschool age children pertaining to health outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively with other volunteers and Early Learning Essential staff members
- Understanding and knowledge of the health component and resources available to families in Utah Valley
- Willing to communicate with families in order to reach their health requirements
