Pickle is a peer-to-peer fashion rental platform where people rent and lend outfits within their communities. As a Pickle Growth Fellow, you’ll be helping scale our growth in your market — activating new users, hosting buzz-worthy events, building local brand partnerships, and growing word of mouth. It’s a part-time, paid role for ambitious self-starters, creative connectors and community builders looking to make an impact.
This is a 3-month program (with opportunity to extend based on performance)
$500/month stipend + $100/month in Pickle credits + performance-based bonuses. Top Growth Fellows can earn over $1,000/month!

What You’ll Do
If you’re the kind of person who loves to make things happen — whether it’s organizing a buzz-worthy event, getting your friends to try the new thing first, or helping launch the next big idea — this is your chance to help grow a fast-moving fashion startup from the ground up.
You’ll work closely with the Pickle team to bring our brand to life locally. That means:
- Planning and executing local activations — from charm nights to closet pop-ups, matcha walks to upload parties and more
- Identifying community moments where Pickle should show up (e.g. sorority events, local festivals, and buzzy activations)
- Finding people with amazing closets and helping them upload their pieces
- Driving new user downloads, spreading brand awareness and building trust
- Helping friends and community members get their first rentals on Pickle
- Building buzz through word-of-mouth, strategic popups, and scrappy marketing
- Collaborating with HQ to brainstorm creative growth tactics for your market
- Acting as our eyes and ears on the ground — spotting trends, feedback, and opportunities to jump on
Requirements
We’re less fussed about years of experience or specific degrees.
We’re looking for Fellows who …
- Are resourceful self-starters with hustle and follow through – you bring the ultimate startup energy
- Can commit 8-10 hours/week, for the next 3 months
- Deep connections within your community or city
- Have that IT factor – you understand of what’s culturally cool at any moment
- Are hyper organized and can move quickly
- Have excellent communication skills – you’ll constantly be sourcing new users and talking to community members
- Are an existing Pickle user and are excited about what we’re building
- and who fit (at least) one of the profiles below:
The Connector
You’re tapped into your local scene — whether it’s your campus or buzzy communities. You are deeply tapped into social networks in your city and are a trusted source your peers look to for recommendations.
️ The Supply Maven
You’ve got great taste and know others with incredible closets. Maybe you’re a stylist, a creator, or just the fashion girlie one everyone turns to for outfit help. You can list 10+ people in your network whose closets you can help upload onto Pickle.
️ The Event Host
You have experience hosting events and know how to bring people together — whether it’s a curated gathering, a closet swap, or a community meetup. You can pull off a high-impact event on a low budget and still make it fun, intentional, and on-brand. Plus, you’re detail oriented, and can execute quickly without a hitch.
The Jack of All Trades
You wear multiple hats and get scrappy. One day you’re handing out gift cards on a main street, the next you’re popping up at a buzzy workout studio, and the next you’re helping someone upload someone’s wardrobe that you just met. You’re eager to roll up your sleeves and are creative to drive meaningful growth.
