Registered Dietitian (Contract) – Virtual Nutrition Coach for Accountability Group & Individual Clients

Are you a Registered Dietitian who’s passionate about helping women lose weight without giving up the foods they love? Do you love coaching, cheering people on, and helping them create realistic, sustainable nutrition habits that actually work in real life? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team at Digg Deep Fitness & Nutrition!
We’re looking for a seasoned RD (5+ years experience) who can lead our 12-week virtual nutrition accountability group and, as needed, take on individual clients for one-on-one coaching. Our clients are predominantly Black women over 35 who are ready to lose weight, break free from emotional and stress eating, navigate hormonal changes, and build a healthier lifestyle without feeling deprived.
This isn’t just about calories and macros — it’s about coaching real people through the ups and downs of behavior change. We need someone who’s just as skilled at listening and encouraging as they are at providing expert nutrition advice.
What you’ll do:
- Lead one live, virtual group check-in each week (1 hour) for our 12-week Nutrition Accountability Program
- Engage with group members in our private Facebook community between sessions (answering questions, offering encouragement, sharing helpful tips)
- Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition coaching sessions as client opportunities become available
- Help clients navigate challenges like emotional/stress eating, weight loss plateaus, and balancing nutrition with cultural food preferences
What we’re looking for:
- Registered Dietitian with 5+ years of experience (weight loss, emotional/stress eating, hormonal changes/perimenopause, and chronic disease management preferred)
- Experience leading group programs and facilitating meaningful discussions
- Cultural competency, particularly in working with Black women and understanding how to make nutrition changes that feel realistic, enjoyable, and sustainable
- Excellent communication skills and a coaching style that’s empathetic, approachable, and motivating (bonus if you’re the kind of person who can make nutrition feel fun and doable!)
The details:
- Contractor position – Remote
- Time commitment: Approx. 4 hours/week for the group (1 live session + group engagement), with the opportunity to add more hours as you take on individual clients
- Pay: Per-group stipend for the 12-week program + hourly rate for individual client sessions (to be discussed based on experience)
