Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Construction Estimator located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Sr. Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and managing costs throughout project lifecycles. Daily tasks include analyzing project requirements, budgeting, and communicating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and financial constraints.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
- Strong Cost Management and Budgeting skills
- Effective Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in real estate or construction industries is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite Mastery: Advanced skills in Excel (required) and estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, or similar.
- Conceptual Estimating Expertise: Proficient at delivering high‑level cost estimates using limited information, leveraging historical cost data and analogous projects to generate Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) or schematic‑level budgets.
