Job Summary:
Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is a leading company in mobility solutions, focused on developing the mobility of tomorrow. The Business Analytics Intern will work on advanced analytics projects, facilitating data-driven decision-making and creating management dashboards to support business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitation of data driven decision making by designing management dashboards with predictive analytics (machine learning)
• Developing a deep understanding of the business demands and underlying decisions
• Mapping the overall system architecture to map all plant KPIs landscape (Key performance indicators)
• Interface with IT dept. to collaborate on advanced analytics topics
• Creation of PowerBI dashboards presentations functioning as a decision-making tool for the management team
Qualifications:
Required:
• Having graduated within the past 12 months or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Business or Engineering related field with a specialization in either data analytics/Computer science engineering/Design thinking/Data science/Business analytics
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Structured thinking and quick comprehension
• Advanced analytics software knowledge for statistical modelling required (Python/R/SPSS for statistical modelling)
• Database knowledge (SQL, Oracle etc)
• Knowledge/Interest Microsoft Azure tools/services would be beneficial (data bricks, machine learning, AI)
• Flexibility and high level of commitment is required
• All candidates should be available for a 6 months full time internship
Preferred:
• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
• A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 3 months, prefer availability for a maximum of 6 months
