Job Description
Thie Director of Renal Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and all administrative and operational activities for dialysis services.
Responsibilities
Coordinate planning and development activities under the direction of the associate vice president for operations in cooperation with other departments. Maintains 24-hour accountability for unit functions and provides leadership to achieve the organization’s mission of excellent patient care and nursing’s vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
Qualifications
Leadership experience and management skills with knowledge and application of professional nursing practice environments and quality/safety improvement processes. RN with BSN required, MSN Preferred. s preferred. Masters must be obtained within three years of being in the role as contracted by the VP of Nursing and AVP of Operations. Current staff without professional nursing board certification in a specialty area must obtain certification within two years in the job as contracted by the VP/AVP.
