Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and mature comprehensive contractor risk management programs that align with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and organizational objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to evaluate contractor safety performance and identify opportunities to mitigate potential hazards.
- Benchmark and trend contractor performance metrics, providing clients with actionable insights by comparing their data to industry peers.
- Use expertise, industry knowledge, and innovative approaches to recommend leading-edge solutions for improving HSE in contractor management.
- Analyze data to uncover trends and insights, providing clients with evidence-based recommendations to enhance safety outcomes and mitigate risk.
- Provide expert guidance on integrating risk management practices into contractor onboarding, training, and evaluation processes.
- Partner with clients to develop tailored action plans that address gaps in contractor compliance, safety performance, and risk management strategies.
- Develop and deliver impactful presentations, training sessions, and written resources to support clients in implementing and maintaining effective contractor management practices.
- Research and establish robust HSE protocols that incorporate risk management principles to enhance contractor and supplier safety.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and workshops to foster relationships and promote leadership in contractor safety and risk management.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in risk management, OSHA legislation, and industry trends to continually improve service offerings.
Travel Requirements
This role requires up to 30% travel within the US and occasional international travel to support clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications And Experience
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in the HSE field, with demonstrated expertise in contractor risk management, compliance, and safety auditing.
- Recognized safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHST, SMS or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of OSHA legislation, risk management frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to analyze and benchmark contractor performance metrics, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for clients.
- Proficiency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish would be desirable but not required.
- Experience in public speaking, delivering presentations, and developing high-quality written resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management) or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects forward.
- Familiarity with emerging safety trends, such as AI-driven risk management tools, is an asset.
