Event Planner – Corporate Travel

Event Planner – What Will I be Doing?
· You will be working on a variety of corporate clients organising a variety of events for their teams, that require accommodation and event space
· You will coordinate and execute these events from start to finish.
You will be working in either the CST or PST Time Zone
· Manage event logistics: sourcing, negotiating, contracts, payments, and reconciliation.
· Maximize income through negotiation and cost savings.
· Collaborate with key clients in order to successfully meet their business objectives and exceed expectations
Event Planner – What experience do I need ?
· It is essential that you have good experience in using the event management platform Cvent.
· Proven event planning experience working with large corporate clients (min 2 years)
· Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
· Self-motivated with enthusiasm for work.
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
· Good influencing skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools and venue source software.
Event Planner – What else do I need to know?
This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA working Monday to Friday but you will be working either CST or PST time zone. Salary is dependent on experience, there is a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus as well as the opportunity to attend “fam trips”.
