Job Description
Although position will be remote , candidates must reside in Long Island , NY. responsibilities include maintaining appropriate software systems & providing great customer service. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Outlook, Excel, and Word with the willingness to learn new software systems.
If you have previous experience or a familiarity within the insurance and financial services industry as a receptionist or administrative assistant you will be given special consideration but it is not required.
Ultimately, a successful administrative assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Additional qualification as a Social Media Manager is a plus
