The Role
As our Operations & People Associate, you’ll wear a lot of hats — part executive assistant, part office manager, part HR coordinator, part team cheerleader. You’ll keep the leadership team on track, make sure the office runs smoothly, and play a big role in onboarding and supporting our people. In short: you’ll help make sure our team is happy, productive, and set up to do their best work.
What You’ll Do
- Keep calendars, meetings, and travel organized for the leadership team.
- Plan team events, offsites, and fun little culture moments that keep us connected.
- Own onboarding and offboarding — from offer letters to first-day setups.
- Coordinate recruiting logistics: post jobs, schedule interviews, keep candidates in the loop.
- Manage office operations: supplies, vendors, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
- Support HR basics like employee records, compliance, and benefits/policies (with outside help when needed).
- Jump into special projects and lend a hand wherever the team needs it.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in operations, people/HR, executive support, or office management (bonus if you’ve done this at a startup).
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
- Strong communicator — you can write a clear email, prep a deck, and chat with anyone from new hires to execs.
- Resourceful and proactive — you spot problems before they happen and take initiative.
- Comfortable with Microsoft tools and hopefully and (ideally) some HR or recruiting platforms.
- Someone who’s happy rolling up their sleeves — no task is too big or too small.
