About the Role:
Beyond Better Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Logistics Operations Associate to manage the day-to-day execution of our inbound logistics processes for our Bada Bean Bada Boom and Fruit Riot brands. This fully remote role is essential for ensuring on-time performance, controlling transportation costs, and maintaining our high standards for inbound protocols. You’ll play a key part in strengthening relationships with our 3PL partners, improving logistics metrics, and ensuring data accuracy within our ERP system.
What You’ll Do:
● End-to-End Inbound Logistics Management
- Own the inbound process from vendor purchase order to final warehouse receipt.
- Coordinate inbound freight by collaborating with the customer operations team and 3PLs.
- Manage freight bookings, shipment tracking, and delivery appointments.
● Cost Optimization & Tactical Execution
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities by tracking and analyzing shipping trends.
- Manage customs clearance and cargo tracking for international shipments.
- Audit and approve invoices from drayage and customs brokers to ensure accuracy.
● Partner Relations & Problem Solving
- Maintain strong relationships with 3PL service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service.
- Proactively communicate with internal teams and external partners to identify, solve, and prevent logistical disruptions.
- Report and escalate critical issues to the Logistics Manager to ensure mission success.
● Compliance & Data Integrity
- Ensure all international shipments adhere to best-in-class protocols and comply with U.S. regulations.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between the company’s ERP system and 3PL warehouse systems to ensure data accuracy on all inbound receipts.
What You’ll Bring:
Required Experience & Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably within the food and beverage or CPG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
