Overview
The IT Service Desk Representative will serve as the frontline support for IT-related incidents and requests, delivering exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels. This role requires a solid understanding of core IT concepts and the ability to quickly resolve technical issues or escalate appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for end-users via phone, email, and chat.
- Provide initial troubleshooting for Microsoft 365, VPN connectivity, Windows/macOS systems, and mobile devices.
- Create, log, and prioritize support tickets in BMC Helix or other ITSM platforms.
- Assist with password resets, account access, and basic application support.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to SLAs.
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support or service desk roles.
- Proficient in using ITSM tools such as BMC Helix or ServiceNow.
- Working knowledge of MDM solutions (e.g., JAMF, Workspace ONE).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred Certifications: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
